Yankees, Royals announce lineups for Monday night’s game at Yankee Stadium

The New York Yankees continue their homestand tonight − with better weather and hopefully better results.

Coming off a raw, chilly and rain-filled weekend in the Bronx in which they dropped two of three games to the San Francisco Giants, the Yankees (8-7) look to get back on track tonight as they begin a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals (8-8) at Yankee Stadium.

Carlos Carrasco (1-1, 7.71 ERA), who has struggled in his first two starts, takes the mound for the Yankees. He opposes Royals starter Seth Lugo (1-1, 3.24).

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
