Day 1 of the 2025 women’s NCAA Tournament did not disappoint, with great games across the board.
Saturday will commence the second day of first-round action of March Madness, with 16 more games on the women’s side. Coverage begins off at noon ET with a matchup between 11-seed Murray State and No. 6 Iowa State. At 1 p.m. ET, likely No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft Paige Bueckers and No. 2 seed UConn women’s basketball take on No. 15 Arkansas State.

The ESPN family of networks will continue broadcasting the women’s college tournament, with ABC appearing as a broadcast for the first time this tournament.
No. 1 seeds USC and No. 1 Texas jump into the action today as well. The Trojans take on No. 16 UNC Greensboro at 3 p.m. ET, while the Longhorns play No. 16 William & Mary at 9:45 p.m. ET. The Tribe defeated High Point 69-63 in Thursday’s First Four to reach the first round.

Another player to watch in Saturday’s action will be Ta’Niya Latson, the star guard for Florida State who led the nation in scoring this season at 24.9 points per game. Latson and the No. 5 seeded Seminoles play No. 11 George Mason at 7:45 p.m. ET.
