Who Is Sadie Sink Playing in ‘Spider-Man’? Here’s What Fans Think

Attention, Marvel stans: after a successful run on Stranger Things, Sadie Sink is officially joining the cast for the next Spider-Man movie. Sources confirmed to Deadline that Sadie is starring in a large role alongside Tom Holland, who already signed on to reprise his iconic role as Peter Parker. While Zendaya’s involvement in the flick hasn’t been confirmed by Sony or Marvel yet, it’s rumored that she will likely return with a minor role due to her busy schedule. Details on Sadie’s part are slim for now, but according to Deadline, “The prevailing theory is she’ll be introduced as X-Men character Jean Grey, but don’t count out the idea that she shows up as another beloved redheaded Spider-Man character.” Several Spider-Fans are also convinced that Sadie could play Jean, but it’s important to note that Sophie Turner took on the role in the X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Gwen Stacy

Some even pointed out that famous redhead Emma Stone dyed her hair blonde to play Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man, so there’s a chance Sadie could switch up her hair, too.
