Heading into Masters weekend, Justin Rose is one of the golfers in contention to take home the green jacket on Sunday. Cheering him on, and by his side for over two decades, is wife Kate Rose (née Phillips).
In fact, Justin even plays with no. 99 golf balls as a nod to Kate, because 9 is her favorite number. He made it 99 to “double the luck,” according to Golf Monthly.

Here, get to know Justin Rose’s wife Kate:
She’s from London.
Kate grew up in Chiswick, London, attending the Godolphin and Latymer Upper School for Girls. She went on to college at the University of Sussex, graduating in 1998 with a bachelor of arts in French and Italian. While at university, she was part of the Sussex Hockey Ladies Team and the University Royal Naval Unit.

Kate met Justin in the early 2000s.
According to People, “Justin and Kate first met while she was an assistant at IMG, the company representing him at the time. Due to her work, she traveled to tournaments Justin was playing in and the future couple eventually met and started dating.”
They tied the knot in December 2006.
She’s a mom of two.
Justin and Kate have two children: son Leo, born in 2009, and daughter Charlotte, who goes by Lottie, born in 2012. Despite living abroad, Kate is insistent that her children grow up close to their English culture.
“I’m on America’s doorstep, I get to dip my toe in and play the tour very easily, but there’s a flight back to London every day,” Justin said in 2017. “Kate is determined that our children feel English, that this should be who they are. She adores London, as a Chiswick girl born and bred. We are here for eight weeks this summer — it will be exciting for us to be a little less nomadic.”

The Roses launched the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation in 2009 to support children living in poverty in Central Florida. “She gets top billing—she’s got a heart of gold,” Justin said of his wife’s philanthropy.
Kate was also a board director of the PGA Tour Wives Association for four years, from 2006 to 2010.
