Atlanta-based rapper Young Scooter was reportedly shot in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday. The shooting was reported just blocks from State Farm Arena where the NCAA tournament is being played and one person was shot in it, as per Fox 5 Atlanta. Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the victim was Young Scooter, whose real name is Kenneth Edward Bailey.
As per local news reports, the shooting took place at the intersection of Luckie Street NW and Mills Street NW. Young Scooter was found with gunshot wounds at the scene of the shooting and was taken to Marcus Trauma Center in Atlanta in critical condition. His cause of death is under investigation.
