West Ham vs Tottenham LIVE updates and analysis from the London Stadium

Hello and welcome to football.london‘s live coverage of West Ham vs Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League as both teams look to edge away from the basement of the table.

While a derby is on the menu at the London Stadium between two sides that have struggled in the league this season which would normally the be-all and end-all for both teams, Spurs have one eye on the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday in Norway and Ange Postecoglou has said that he will need to make plenty of changes with that in mind.

That means plenty of different faces will be in action looking to make an impression and try to earn themselves a place in the Australian’s starting line-up in Bodo in midweek for the huge semi-final clash. There is also plenty of pride at stake in this London clash between two sides who have made a mess of their Premier League seasons despite the odd promising moment.

Our Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold is at the London Stadium and you can follow his live updates from the Premier League derby below and he will then be at the post-match press conferences at Stratford.

Should have been a second goal for Spurs. Tel picks out Richarlison’s run with a lovely little ball but the Brazilian hits the ball across the face of goal rather than shooting. Odobert wasn’t expecting it.

Richarlison fires over with a shot on the run on to Spence’s low cross.

14:29KEY EVENT

Now it’s Spurs’ turn for some horrendous defending as Bowen is able to waltz down the right of their box, between Spence and Davies, and saunter inside before nutmegging Vicario. 1-1.

Mathys Tel curls a free-kick well over the West Ham crossbar.

Horrendous defending from Kilman, who hits the ball against Tel and the Frenchman fires it across the box for Odobert, who takes a touch and slides the ball home.

A cross hits Bissouma’s hand but he didn’t know much about it and his arm was down.

Tottenham fans will be hoping to see Mikey Moore finally getting minutes while the lesser spotted Timo Werner could be involved as well with players like Son Heung-min, Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison all likely to miss the match among others.

The Tottenham boss had a lot to say about Lucas Bergvall and the leak inside the club that got the teenager’s medical information out into the public domain and you can find what he had to say right here.
