In the headliner, Ian Machado Garry (15-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) takes on Carlos Prates (21-6 MMA, 4-0 UFC) in a showdown between welterweight rising stars. In the co-feature, Zhang Mingyang (18-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is a heavy favorite to spoil the retirement fight for Anthony Smith (38-21 MMA, 13-11 UFC) in front of his home fans.

Jimmy Flick vs. Matt Schnell

Round 1 – Leg kick by Flick, but Schnell answers back with a quick combo. Oh, Flick with three left hooks! Flick shoots and Schnell stuffs it. Not for long though, after pressing him against the cage, Flick gets the takedown. Flick working from side control now. Schnell recovers guard and threatens with a triangle choke! Flick gets out and moves to half guard. Great control here by Flick, but little damage being done. The bell rings.

An accidental eye poke from Young pauses the fight. After a few seconds, it resumes. Solid body kick by Elder. Elder landing the bigger shots here. More nasty leg kicks by Elder.
