Taylor Swift went viral for all the wrong reasons at Super Bowl LIX.
The “Fortnight” singer made the trip to New Orleans’ Superdome to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they looked to make history by securing an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.
Early in the game, however, Swift was shown on the jumbotron, which prompted a host of boos from the hordes of Philadelphia Eagles fans who attended the big game.
Swift looked confused at the reception, and it appears that she even asked, “What’s going on” after realizing that the jeering was aimed at her.
According to a report by Daily Mail, Kelce knew what was going on, and he could not help but get affected after seeing how the fans treated Swift.
“Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him,” revealed Daily Mail’s source.
“He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.”

Losing the Super Bowl must have been extremely painful for Kelce, and the fact that his potential soon-to-be-wife got the savage treatment during the game only made it all the worse. Having to accept the fact that he could do absolutely nothing about the booing was heartbreaking for the All-Pro tight end.
The Chiefs ended up suffering a devastating 40-22 defeat against the Eagles. Kelce finished the game with four receptions for 39 yards.
