Taylor Swift Leaves Travis Kelce Feeling ‘Helpless’ Amid Super Bowl Boos

Taylor Swift was just trying to watch her boyfriend play a game.

But the world-wide pop icon went viral (nothing new there) for the wrong reason (something definitely new there) at Super Bowl LIX. ….

And that aforementioned boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, was left feeling “helpless” as a result.

Entering Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, KC looked to make history by securing an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.

That didn’t work out; Kelce was a non-factor as the Chiefs were drubbed by the Eagles by a 40-22 score.

Along the way, Swift – one of many celebrities in the Superdome audience – was shown on the jumbotron; again, nothing new there.

But this display prompted boos from the Eaglesd fans who attended the big game.

The offshoots of the incident?

There was President Donald Trump, who used it to mock Swift for not having voted for him.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

There was Swift herself, looking rather confounded at the negative reception as she appears at one point to ask her seatmates, “What’s going on?” …

Before realizing that she was the target of the derision.

And, according to a report by Daily Mail, there is the reaction of Kelce, who was down on the field and doing his job but still aware of the scene that was unfolding.

“Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him,” revealed the Daily Mail’s source. “He always protects her and it broke his heart.”

Kelce is on record as saying the loss was painful enough, especially because “There’s a lot that goes into it, you don’t lose like that without everything going bad.”

But yes, we get it. His already-tough night (he caught four passes for 39 innocuous yards) was suddenly exacerbated by the hooting directed at his girlfriend. And now the All-Pro tight end has to carry his emotions into the offseason, saddled with a loss … and reportedly planning to consider retirement.
