The third round of fan voting for “Survivor 50” is about to begin.
“Survivor” host Jeff Probst announced in February that viewers would have an opportunity to influence the show’s upcoming 50th season via a series of votes. The first vote kicked off in February during the “Survivor 48” premiere, and the second round took place in March.
Round 3 of “Survivor 50” voting begins on Wednesday, April 16, during this week’s episode of “Survivor 48.” As with the past two rounds, fans will have one week to cast their votes once the polls are open.
Fans can vote at https://survivor50cbs.votenow.tv. Round 3 allows viewers to weigh in on immunity necklace design, whether to give castaways camp supplies or make them earn them, and the prevalence of twists.
“The right twist at the right moment can change the game for players in exciting ways. But some fans prefer a more straightforward game where strategic alliances are all that matter. Which are you?” CBS said in a statement about the third round of voting.
Many “Survivor” fans have expressed frustration with the way twists can derail the game, but some people are confused about the wording of the twist question.
“No 3rd option on [the twists question]? Feels like a middle ground would be good there,” one fan wrote via X.

“What’s annoying about this is that it makes it seem like we don’t like twists at all. Twists are fine, but there are twists other than splitting the merged tribe into two groups … its not a twist when its every season,” another person chimed in.
A third viewer simply wrote, “The twist wording is so dumb.”
It’s unclear exactly how production will take fans’ opinions on twists into account when planning for “Survivor 50.” The results of the voting won’t be revealed until season 50 airs in 2026.
During the first two rounds of “Survivor 50″ voting, fans voiced their opinions on tribe swaps, the final four challenge, advantages, tribe colors, whether castaways should be given rice or have to earn it, whether there should be a firemaking challenge or a vote at final four, and whether “Survivor 50” should have a live reunion in L.A. or a pre-taped aftershow in Fiji.
“Survivor” airs on CBS and Paramount+ on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Episodes are available to stream on Paramount+ the day after they air.
