Spurs Get Dire Injury Update Before Playing Mavericks

For the second time in as many games, the San Antonio Spurs will take on the Dallas Mavericks. On Monday, they lost a hard-fought game, falling 133-129 in the final seconds. The Spurs ere without Jeremy Sochan and Victor Wembanyama, and the injuries are starting to pile up late in the season.

As the Mavericks grapple with a lost season of their own, mostly due to poor roster management, the two proud Texas teams are in a race to the bottom for the best draft pick possible, and the matchup tonight might be one of the more shameless tank jobs in recent league memory.

Keep it posted to Inside the Spurs for all the latest news, ranging from odds (via FanDuel), injury reports for both teams and TV information.

Sochan didn’t play in the last contest, and if neither he nor Devin Vassell played, the Spurs can expect to put up a pretty weak fight. On top of that, De’Aaron Fox might be nearing the end of his season, as he could undergo finger surgery on March 17.
