Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) fast bowler Spencer Johnson knocked over Rajasthan Royals’ tailender Jofra Archer with a peach in match six of the IPL 2025 season in Guwahati. Pitching in the middle, the Australian speedster made Archer’s off-stump go for a cartwheel as the Royals lost its ninth wicket in the final over of the innings.

Prior to his dismissal, Archer clubbed 16 runs off just six deliveries with two huge sixes to provide the Rajasthan Royals a much-needed impetus in the slog overs.

Batting at number nine for the Rajasthan Royals at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, Jofra Archer bludgeoned a couple of meaty blows after arriving to the crease in the penultimate over at 131-7. However, before he could surge the Royals past the 150-run mark, Archer had his off-stump flying outside the crease by KKR fast bowler and Australian quick Spencer Johnson, who sent down a 135 kmph bullet to pick up his lone wicket of the evening.

The Rajasthan Royals eventually reached 151-9 from 20 overs after being invited to bat first by KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane.

Earlier in the match, KKR fast bowler Vaibhav Arora along with spinners Moeen Ali and Varun Chakravarthy all picked up two wickets each in the innings. Harshit Rana also chipped in with two wickets, which included the prized-scalps of Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer.

For the Rajasthan Royals, Jurel top-scored in the innings by minting 33 cautious runs off 28 balls with five elegant boundaries.
