In the past few years, Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala looks have almost broken the internet – and we’re guessing tonight’s will be no different.
Kardashian, 44, has been a Met Gala staple since attending her first ever one in 2013. At the time, the star attended as husband Kanye West’s plus one and was pregnant with their first child, North West. While her Givenchy maternity gown for the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” theme was the subject of much conversation, Kardashian has consistently proved that she understands the Met Gala assignment every year.

2025 was no different as Kardashian stepped out for this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Dressed in Chrome Hearts, Kardashian wore a full leather look with a crocodile skin backless gown, complete with a striking fedora.
In 2024, which had the theme “The Garden of Time,” Kardashian left our jaws on the floor in a custom Maison Margiela Couture silver gown with leaf-shaped chainmail. She then accessorized with a gray shawl that left fans scratching their heads.
Kardashian explained the idea behind the outlet in an interview with Vogue on the carpet. According to her, the ensemble represented “the wildest night of my life in a garden,” and after her fun romp, she grabbed her “boyfriend’s sweater and threw it on and had to get to work. And my hair’s all messed up.”
A year earlier, Kardashian opted for another figure-hugging corset look with 50,000 pearls draped on her torso. The look was a couture creation by Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli to celebrate the theme of that year, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
Some of her other standout looks over the years was the Thierry Mugler wet look dress at the 2019 Met Gala, her totally-covered up Balenciaga look at the 2021 Met Gala and, of course, her 2022 entrance in a stunning archival gown famously worn by Marilyn Monroe when she performed at John F. Kennedy’s birthday party. A true Met Gala icon!
