Rutgers opens play tonight in the Big Ten Tournament. The Scarlet Knights are the No.11 seed and will face No.14 USC. Both teams will carry in a 15-16 overall record. Rutgers was game better than USC with a conference record of 8-12 while the Trojans ended at 7-13. Rutgers downed USC, 95-85, during the team’s first meeting this season.
