De’Aaron Fox will reportedly join Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio.
In what’s turned out to be a wild weekend for even the most advanced acolytes of the NBA trade machine, another deal has major talents on the move.
Multiple reports indicate the Kings are trading guard De’Aaron Fox to the Spurs in a 3-team deal also involving Bulls guard Zach LaVine, Kings forward Kevin Huerter and multiple draft picks.
Full trade:
Spurs: De’Aaron Fox, Jordan McLaughlin
Kings: Zach LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first round picks (2025 CHA, 2027 SAS, 2031 MIN), three second round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 own back)
Bulls: Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter, their own 2025 pick via SAS https://t.co/UgwylCUYAO

Fox is averaging 25.0 points, 6.1 assists and five rebounds per game this season for the Kings. He’s been an All-Star and an All-NBA player, and now in his eighth season gets to team up with perhaps the league’s brightest young star in Wembanyama.
LaVine, a two-time All-Star entering his 11th NBA season, is averaging 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Most notably, he’s connecting at career-best efficiency, setting personal marks at 44.6% from long range and 51.1% overall.
So much history in this trade. Sacramento once signed Zach LaVine to a restricted free agent offer sheet. Last month my colleague @JakeLFischer reported LaVine was good with staying in Chicago after the Bulls tried for more than a year to trade him. Now LaVine is Sactown-bound. https://t.co/maXMyPJP4G
