Red Sox at Orioles lineups: Brockton boy makes good in Bo’more

Well, that wasn’t pretty, was it?

The Red Sox lost three of four to Texas, notably in the games Garrett Crochet didn’t start, and Rafael Devers has looked lost. It’s still just four games. Maybe being halfway home, in Baltimore and in the proper time, zone will help the lads (2:35 p.m. start).

Brockton boy Sean Newcomb makes his Boston debut and should feel comfortable in the one of two home stadiums the Sox called home during his youth and adolescence, even if it is on Orioles opening day. He’ll be countered by Cade Povich (in home hot lefty on lefty action) and a heavy-hitting Orioles lineup.
