Pharrell Williams and Wife Helen Lasichanh Wear Coordinated Louis Vuitton for Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet

Pharrell Williams and his longtime partner and wife of nearly 12 years Helen Lasichanh opted for couple coords for the 2025 Met Gala on Monday in New York City. Williams serves as a cochair for this year’s event, alongside several high-profile figures in arts and fashion.

For the special occasion, Williams and his wife wore coordinated Louis Vuitton looks. Williams wore a sleek suit with boot-cut tailored black pants and a textural double-breasted blazer with sharp lapels and silver buttons in shades of off-white and gray.

Beneath the blazer, Williams wore a classic white button-up shirt and a black tie. He accessorized it with black sunglasses and black leather loafers. Lasichanh went with a black, corseted bodysuit with a coordinated oversize black jacket with angular lapels.

Lasichanh also wore Louis Vuitton sheer black tights with the French luxury fashion house’s logo embossed on the fabric. Lasichanh, a designer in her own right, carried a Louis Vuitton handbag to complete the look. As for jewelry, the couple accessorized with pieces courtesy of Tiffany & Co. — Williams launched his Titan jewelry collection with the historic label in May 2024.

Williams’ relationship with Louis Vuitton is a close and creative one. The Grammy Award-winning artist serves as the French luxury fashion house’s creative director for menswear, a role to which he was appointed in 2023.

In January, Williams unveiled Louis Vuitton’s men’s collection during Paris Fashion Week. The collection was a collaborative effort in partnership with Williams’ longtime friend Nigo, the artistic director of Kenzo. “The two comperes employed rich textures and sophisticated details to dandify silhouettes that cross-referenced Williams’ reworking of Vuitton archetypes with Nigo’s archives of more than 10,000 rare pieces including workwear, streetwear and Japanese textiles,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

The 2025 Met Gala, held Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, features the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The event highlights Black dandyism and menswear, with a “Tailored for You” dress code. Cochairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour.
