Abdul Carter game status
The question remains: Will Abdul Carter be ready to go against Notre Dame on Thursday?
The status of the All-American defensive end was up in the air all week, with head coach James Franklin saying, “It looks like he’s going to be a game-time decision,” but he’s hopeful his star pass rusher will be good to go.
Carter sustained what appeared to be an upper body or left shoulder injury during the first quarter of the Fiesta Bowl against Boise State and did not return.
On Thursday afternoon, Carter posted a cryptic tweet that hinted he will be available for the Orange Bowl, referencing Darth Vader from the Star Wars universe.
