Patriots make Kobee Minor, CB, Memphis the Mr. Irrelevant of this year’s NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and the New England Patriots had the honor to make the final pick. With the 257th overall selection in the seventh round, the Patriots have officially made Memphis cornerback Kobee Minor this year’s Mr. Irrelevant.

Minor is the 11th and final player drafted by the Patriots this year. They started out by selecting offensive tackle Will Campbell fourth overall in the first round, followed by second-round running back TreVeyon Henderson and third-rounders WR Kyle Williams and C Jared Wilson.

On Saturday, New England added several players in all three phases. Safety Craig Woodson and defensive tackle Joshua Farmer were drafted in Round 4; edge Bradyn Swinson was added to the mix in Round 5; kicker Andres Borregales was picked in Round 6; offensive tackle Marcus Bryant and long snapper Julian Ashby heard their names called earlier in Round 7.
