The blunt, futuristic chop is softened with a subtle bend throughout the hair, adding texture and body. Hitting just at her chin, the bob perfectly accentuates Anderson’s bone structure. The textured styling adds levity and romance to a cut that could otherwise read severe.

The flippy ends perfectly mirror the structured, boat-neck collar of her silver, jewel-encrusted Tory Burch gown. Her strands are also artfully tucked behind her ear to reveal a gorgeous diamond ear cuff by Pandora.

Anderson first debuted the cut last week at an event hosted by the Tory Burch Foundation. However, the style was hidden under a beige bucket hat, adding to the anticipation for tonight’s look.

The short crop of tonight’s bangs perfectly highlights her ’90s-thin brows and allows Anderson’s skin to shine, as subtle flecks of silver shimmer are dusted across her eyes and cheekbones. The rest of her face remains light and airy as usual, with simple rosy cheeks and lips. She’s mostly gone makeup-free since she ditched makeup for Paris Fashion Week in September 2023. However, it’s a departure from last year’s Met Gala, when Pat McGrath dolled her up in a soft full-face of makeup.
