Outside Lands — San Francisco’s largest and most-anticipated outdoor music festival — is back this summer with a star-studded lineup.
Why it matters: The three-day event is returning for the 17th time and attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees to Golden Gate Park annually in what’s become one of the city’s premier music gatherings.
What to expect: More than 110 artists will play at seven stages at this year’s festival taking place Aug. 8-10. Local food vendors, wine-tastings, craft cocktails and more will be included.
Driving the news: Hip-hop acts are among the top performers, with artists like Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat as headliners.

Flashback: Last year’s performers included pop stars like Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as a host of country acts.
The intrigue: Festival lovebirds and devotees can also opt to get married or host their recommitment ceremonies in the Eucalyptus shade at McLaren Pass. Packages, which include an officiant and photographer, start at $570.
