FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado caused damage in Steuben County on Sunday.

The tornado touched down at 5:28 p.m. and ended seven minutes later, NWS reports. The agency estimates it reached up to 90 miles per hour and its path was more than five miles.
NWS says it likely originated in a field north of Little Turkey Lake.
Several trees and buildings in the area were damaged, including a collapsed metal barn.
The tornado likely traveled in a non-continuous path for several minutes, NWS says. A 50 to 100-yard swath of trees were snapped or uprooted on the southwest side of Long Lake.
Notable tree damage was reported at a nearby Boy Scout camp.
No injuries were reported.
