What to expect

More information about Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends: Z-A could be revealed, as they are the last two remaining first-party Switch games that we know are due out this year. However, a Pokemon Presents showcase also aired last month, so it’s unclear whether Pokemon Legends: Z-A will make an additional appearance.

Given that the presentation is about 30 minutes, it’s likely that there will be plenty of third-party games shown off too. Games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Lunar Remastered Collection, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, and Rusty Rabbit are releasing on Switch in the next few months.

We might also see updates for games like The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky remake and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, as they were revealed in past Directs.

Could it finally be time for a Hollow Knight: Silksong release date? It’s possible, but there are rumors that a Switch 2 version will be released, making it candidate for next week’s Direct as well.
