The New Orleans Saints are reuniting with a former player and 11-year veteran. The New Orleans Saints confirmed that Brandin Cooks is returning to the franchise. He’s returning to the franchise after he was traded to the New England Patriots in 2017. Cooks was drafted as the 20th overall pick by the Saints during the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Cooks is a wide receiver from Oregon State University. He has spent his last two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, catching 80 passes for 916 yards and 11 touchdowns during that time. Cooks is coming off an injury after suffering a knee infection during the 2024 regular season. He only played in 10 games. He went on to finish the season with 26 catches for 259 yards and three touchdowns.
