David Andrews, a two-time Super Bowl Champion and eight-time team captain, is being released by the New England Patriots. Andrews, 32, played 10 seasons in New England. He was signed as a rookie free agent out of Georgia in 2015. Andrews, a 300-pound center, appeared in 124 regular-season games and 12 postseason games. He was named a member of the 2010s All-Decade Team and was the 2020 recipient of the Ron Burton Community Service Award.He played in only four games last season due to injury.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —David Andrews, a two-time Super Bowl Champion and eight-time team captain, is being released by the New England Patriots.

Andrews, 32, played 10 seasons in New England. He was signed as a rookie free agent out of Georgia in 2015.

Andrews, a 300-pound center, appeared in 124 regular-season games and 12 postseason games. He was named a member of the 2010s All-Decade Team and was the 2020 recipient of the Ron Burton Community Service Award.

He played in only four games last season due to injury.
