Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser, who both star on the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” have revealed their engagement after previously keeping their relationship a secret.
“We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged. This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another,” Buchanan wrote via Instagram on Thursday, alongside several photos of the pair. “We’re so grateful for the love and support, and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world.”
The official Netflix Instagram account also shared the big news.
“COBRA KRYING BECAUSE TANNER BUCHANAN & MARY MOUSER ARE ENGAGED,” the account captioned snaps of the couple showing off their engagement rings.
The engagement announcement came one day after Buchanan and Mouser officially confirmed their romance at the “Cobra Kai” series finale premiere in Los Angeles. They shared a kiss on the red carpet and held up their hands to show off their rings.
While the twosome previously kept their relationship under wraps, that didn’t stop them from sharing pictures of each other on occasion. In 2022, Buchanan posted an Instagram photo of him giving Mouser a piggy back ride at Disneyland Paris.
Back in 2021, Mouser gave Buchanan a seemingly platonic social media shout-out.
“GO WATCH MY BEST FRIEND FREAKING KILL IT IN @hesallthatmovie,” she wrote alongside Instagram photos of her and Buchanan at the “He’s All That” premiere. “I love you, @tannerbuchananofficial, for putting up with my antics. And honestly, you usually just match my antics with your own so thanks for that too.”
Buchanan and Mouser have starred on “Cobra Kai” as Robby Keene and Sam LaRusso, respectively, since season 1.
Part three of Cobra Kai’s sixth and final season hit Netflix on Thursday, Feb. 13.
