Boston Celtics 109, Orlando Magic 100 (Final)
Cleveland Cavaliers 121, Miami Heat 112 (Final)
Houston Rockets 109, Golden State Warriors 94 (Final)
Post-man is cooking in Q4📬
Warriors rookie Quinten Post has given his squad some much needed energy off the bench in the fourth. He’s knocked down two 3s in the period to give him 12 points (4-8 FG) to help Golden State get to within 11, as they trail 91-80 with less than seven minutes remaining in the game.
The Rockets have only put up 6 points in the quarter, with fouls and a couple reviews breaking up the pace for Houston. Get to this game now (Live on TNT, truTV and Max)!

Rockets getting after it😤
Steven Adams sells out for the 50-50 ball, then Jalen Green and Tari Eason put on a show for the home crowd. Green continues to lead everyone with 30 points in 30 minutes, adding 3 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals. Eason has been effective in his 22 minutes as a reserve, putting up 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting and 6 rebounds.
Green then detonates at the rim to give him 15 points in the third quarter alone.

Houston leads at half🍿🤠
The Rockets and Warriors traded 3s on six straight possessions in the final minutes of the first half, but Houston holds onto a 60-46 lead at the break. Stephen Curry leads Golden State with 11 points with three made 3s and 5 assists in 19 minutes.
Jalen Green leads all scorers with 15 points on 4-for-10 shooting (three made 3s), and Alperen Sengun has done a bit of everything with 13 points (5-14 FG), 7 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals in 20 minutes. Houston has been aggressive to the tune of 15 free throw attempts (13 makes), while Golden State is just 4-for-8 at the stripe.

Jimmy Butler III has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a pelvic contusion, and Brandin Podziemski is questionable to return after being questionable to even play because of a stomach illness. Pat Spencer has been a bright spot through all the turmoil, pouring in 9 points on 4-for-6 shooting in 9 minutes off the bench.

Jalen Green gets Quinten Post leaning before exploding past him for the jam. He’s already matched his Game 1 output with 7 points in 12 minutes, adding 4 assists and a steal. Tari Eason has popped for 9 points in 7 minutes off the bench.
Moses Moody leads Golden State with 7 points, and Stephen Curry has 5 points, an assist and a block in ten minutes. Jimmy Butler III took a hard fall and headed back to the locker room with a limp, so hopefully he’s okay and able to get back out there for the Warriors. They trail the Rockets 34-20 with 9:18 left before halftime.

Cavs win Game 2, take 2-0 lead⚔️
Cleveland hangs on for the 121-112 win against Miami to take a 2-0 series lead. Donovan Mitchell was brilliant with 30 points (10-21 FG, 7-10 3PT), 6 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal, dropping 20 of those in the fourth quarter. He hit back-to-back threes in crunch time on his way to 8 straight points, lifting the Cavs when the rest of his squad went scoreless from the field until the final minute.
Darius Garland finished with 21 points and 9 assists in 32 minutes, and Evan Mobley made his presence felt after a quiet Game 1, tallying 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting (3 3PM) and six boards.

🌉Warriors vs Rockets🚀Game 2 Matchup
Golden State looks to be the first road team to take a 2-0 lead in their respective series when they take on the Rockets in Houston tonight. Steph Curry was vintage Chef with 31 points on 12-for-19 shooting with five made 3s in 40 minutes in the 95-85 Game 1 victory.
‘Playoff Jimmy’ was in full force, as Jimmy Butler III put up a monster stat line with 25 points (10-19 FG), 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in 42 minutes. Brandin Podziemski chipped in 14 points, 8 boards, 5 assists and 2 steals, and he’ll be back in the starting lineup after being listed as questionable with a stomach illness.
Houston was led by Alperen Sengun in his playoff debut, tallying 26 points (11-18 FG), 9 rebounds and 3 steals. No other player had more than 11 points in the loss. Jabari Smith, Jr and Dillon Brooks had 11 apiece, but the Rockets will need more from their supporting cast and Jalen Green (7 points on Sunday) if they hope to even things at 1-1.

Jaylen Brown is going off for the Celtics tonight with a game-high 27 points (9-12 FG, 4-4 3PT, 5-6 FT), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in 30 minutes. He’s a perfect 5-for-5 from the field in the third quarter, including two made 3s. Kristaps Porziņģis (20 points, 8 boards, 2 steals and 2 blocks) took an elbow in the head from Goga Bitadze that caused him to bleed, so keep an eye out for KP the rest of the way.
Payton Pritchard leads the game in bench scoring with 12 points (3-6 3PT) in almost 24 minutes. Boston takes an 81-71 lead into the fourth quarter, going live shortly on TNT, truTV and Max.

⚔️Cavs vs Heat🔥Game 2 matchup🌟
Cleveland’s backcourt trio of Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Ty Jerome combined to score 85 points in the convincing 121-100 Game 1 victory. Jerome, in his postseason debut, caught fire in 17-second half minutes with 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting and 3-for-4 from deep.
Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Max Strus join Mitchell and Garland as the first five Cavs on the floor. Mobley (9 points, 7 rebounds in 33 minutes) and Allen (12 points, 11 rebounds in 30 minutes) did a lot more than their stat lines suggest, but watch for Cleveland’s twin towers to be more involved in the scoring in Game 2.
Davion Mitchell earns the first playoff start of his young career after erupting for 18 points and 9 assists on 8-for-12 shooting (2-3 3PT) in 34 minutes as a reserve on Sunday. Alec Burks will slide back to the bench as an instant offense option for coach Erik Spoelstra. The Heat will need Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins to keep pace with Mitchell, Garland and the rest of the Cavs’ deep roster if they want to even the series before heading down to Miami.

🍀Celtics vs Magic Game 2🪄
Boston will be shorthanded as they look to take a 2-0 series lead over Orlando. Celtics’ star forward Jayson Tatum will not play tonight because of a bone bruise in his right wrist after falling awkwardly in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 103-86 victory. Tatum had never missed a playoff game before tonight, playing in 114 straight postseason games (longest active streak).
Al Horford will step into the first unit with JT out. He was solid in his 25 minutes on Sunday, tallying 5 points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3PT), 5 boards, 3 assists and a steal. The Celtics will rely heavily on Jaylen Brown and Derrick White in Game 2, and they could certainly use a more aggressive Kristaps Porziņģis, who had 5 points on 1-for-8 shooting in 26 minutes in Game 1.

Orlando got big games from their young star forwards in Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, who combined for 59 of the Magic’s 86 points. Banchero scored 36 points in the loss, making it four out of eight career playoff games that he’s scored 30+.
But if the Magic hope to even the series at 1-1 headed back to Orlando, they’ll need to get some more production from the rest of their roster. Payton Pritchard (19) outscored Orlando’s entire bench (17) by himself, and Jonathan Isaac was the third-leading scorer with 7 points off the bench.
Playoffs Storylines for Wednesday📖
- The Boston Celtics host the Orlando Magic in Game 2 at TD Garden tonight, but they may have to go for a 2-0 series lead without Jayson Tatum, who’s listed as doubtful due to a bone bruise in his right wrist. Newly-minted Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser or Al Horford could fill the void in the starting lineup, but it’ll take a village to make up for Tatum’s absence on the court. Orlando will look to get more scoring from anyone outside of Paolo Banchero (36) and Franz Wagner (23), who combined for 59 of the Magic’s 86 points and were the only two players to hit double figures.
- Cleveland plays host to Miami looking to take a 2-0 lead in the first-ever postseason matchup between these two franchises. Donovan Mitchell (30), Darius Garland (27), and Ty Jerome (28) led a dominant effort in the Cavs’ 121-100 win in the series opener on Sunday. Tyler Herro had 21 points (7-18 FG) while Bam Adebayo was the high man for the Heat with 24 points (10-22 FG) and 9 rebounds in Game 1.
- The Warriors take aim at a 2-0 series lead of their own over the hosting Houston Rockets, who struggled in their 95-85 loss Sunday. The Rockets can bounce back in Game 2, but they’ll need more from their starting backcourt of Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet. The two guards accounted for 17 points while collectively shooting just 7-for-34 from the field. Stephen Curry (31 points) and Jimmy Butler III (25 points, 5 steals) will continue to lead Golden State as they look to steal both games away from the Chase Center.
