NBA Player Props Today: March 22, 2025

Our NBA expert player props have gone 7-1 over the last two days, and with four more picks to make for Saturday’s slim five-game slate, let’s cross our fingers that the good fortune carries over.

Here are the four player props in question, including a PRA for Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (-120) on the road at Crypto.com Arena against the Los Angeles Lakers on March 22, 2025.

Nikola Vucevic OVER 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Lakers (-120 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET

As formidable as the Lakers’ defense has been since the start of the calendar year (fourth overall, 110.9 points allowed per 100 possessions), the lack of size in the interior is a weakness that can still be exploited by opposing sides. The team is giving up just 46.8 points in the paint during that stretch, but that number has risen to 51.2 points over the last five games, ranking 20th in the Association.

Vucevic could be a problem for Los Angeles on Saturday night, as he’s exceeded a PRA (points + rebounds + assists) of 27.5 in each of his last two games after failing to do so in his four prior outings. He just reached a PRA of 46 in Chicago’s 128-116 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, finishing with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists in 32 minutes of action.

Reinforcements may be incoming with LeBron James listed as questionable missing time with a groin injury, but in straight man-to-man coverage, no one on the Lakers’ roster is going to be able to contain Vucevic with size anyway. This is a matchup he can thrive in, and his averages of 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 dimes across his last six appearances will keep the PRA OVER on the table should his shot fail him.

Malik Monk OVER 25.5 Points + Assists vs. Bucks (-118 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET

There are plenty of statistical similarities between Sacramento Kings wings Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Malik Monk, and they get accentuated when they don’t have their three-time All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis to play through. The best way to differentiate the three and lean one particular way is to find patterns, and there’s currently one ongoing for Monk especially which makes him an enticing play against the Milwaukee Bucks.

For a combination of points and assists, Monk has gone OVER 25.5 in each of his last three games. Not only has he gone over, the 27-year-old has done so quite convincingly each time, never falling below 30 while averaging a team-high 28 points and 6.7 assists. Monk also went OVER this number in his two meetings with Milwaukee a season ago, as well.

The Bucks allow the second-most points to opposing point guards, which is a position Monk spends more than half of his minutes playing. He should have this in the bag at the Golden 1 Center.

Ziaire Williams OVER 12.5 Points vs. Pacers (+100 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Brooklyn Nets vs. Indiana Pacers, 5 p.m. ET

We’re returning to what brought us to the dance on Thursday when we connected on a Ziaire Williams scoring prop against the same Indiana Pacers he’ll be facing off with again on Saturday. The number was established at 11.5, and the Brooklyn Nets forward doubled it up with 22 points in a six-point overtime loss on the road.

He’s now gone OVER 12.5 points in three-straight games and four of his last five, averaging 18.5 points on a crisp 50 percent shooting from the field during that run. Williams’ is contributing 15.2 points per game over those five appearances, as well, and while his 10.6 shot attempts only rank fifth on the Nets, he’s shooting more efficiently than any of the teammates ahead of him.

An interesting prop connecting to this is Williams hitting 2.5 3-pointers with an OVER at +154, considering he just made six against the Pacers on March 20. If he gets hot from the perimeter again and Indiana forgets about him, scoring at least 13 points should be a smooth process.

Quinten Post To Make 3+ 3-Pointers vs. Hawks (+190 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Golden State Warriors vs. Atlanta Hawks, 7 p.m. ET

The Atlanta Hawks had long ranked dead last in opponent’s 3-pointers made, attempted, and efficiency, and though that’s no longer the case, they’re still one of the weaker teams overall in that regard and can confidently be faded to this day. Golden State Warriors rookie Quinten Post has been lights out shooting the rock lately, and that could spell doom for Atlanta even in its own backyard.

Post has converted 10-of-18 3-point attempts over his last two games, making at least four each time. That came against teams ranking in the top-third of the league in opponent’s 3-point percentage in the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors, and the Hawks are currently 27th at 37.3 percent.

His 3-point prop is now at 1.5 with an OVER of -168, which isn’t the type of value we seek. Post making three or more at plus money is the road best travelled, as he’s drilled at least that many in four of his last six games for Golden State.
