Baseball returns to Milwaukee Monday afternoon, but the party starts a few hours earlier. This season opener carries a deep sense of emotion as Milwaukee begins its first season since 1971 without the legendary voice of Bob Uecker.The Brew Crew will host the Kansas City Royals. The game starts at 1:10 p.m., but parking lots will open at 10:10 a.m. (three hours prior to game time) and ballpark gates will open at 11:10 a.m. (two hours prior to game time).Parking ambassadors will be onsite to assist guests with activating their parking sessions. Things to know about Opening DayAll fans will receive a 2025 Milwaukee Brewers Magnet Schedule, presented by Palermo’s Pizza. The National Anthem will be sung at about 12:57 p.m. by Milwaukee based singer and song writer Allison Mahal with Valkyrie, a bald eagle from the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, on field. The ceremonial first pitches at about 1:02 p.m., will be thrown by Karl Simandl, representing the Wounded Warrior Project, and Dr. Kent Botsford, of the ALS Association. Both causes were supported by the late Brewers broadcaster, Bob Uecker, and are now supported by the Uecker Family and Brewers in his memory.There are several tributes to Bob Uecker, including Ueck’s signature across the outfield grass, a moment of silence and the Milwaukee debut of the Uecker jersey patch on all on-field personnel jerseys.Live music: DJ King James will help get the party started near the pedestrian bridge, and The 5 Card Studs will rock the Miller Lite Landing from gates open until pregame ceremonies begin.The team has not yet announced who will be the starting pitcher.As for tickets, they may be a hard to come by.
