Oluchi Okananwa, coming off the bench, recorded a double-double 12 points and 12 rebounds en route to Duke’s Sweet 16 win. She credits the stellar performance to her cohesive, adaptable style of play.

“That’s my energy, my hustle, my heart,” Okananwa said after the game. “I’m going to need whatever my team needs me to do.”

Duke gave up the game’s first 11 straight points. But Okananwa wasn’t worried, as the Blue Devils have faced deficits before and rallied.

“When we’re down by a deficit, we know we’re going to comeback,” Okananwa said. “This group is so connected.”
