March Madness live updates, scores, bracket: South Carolina vs. Duke in NCAA tournament Elite Eight

The March Madness slate continues with the beginning of the Elite Eight in the NCAA women’s tournament.

After some chalk-filled early rounds, we have two marquee matchups on Sunday.

No. 1 South Carolina will look to continue its title defense in a matchup with No. 2 Duke. The Gamecocks struggled at times in their Sweet 16 matchup with No. 4 Maryland, but ultimately held on for the win. The Blue Devils left no doubt in their rivalry matchup with No. 3 UNC, winning a defensive battle 47-38.

In the later matchup, Lauren Betts and No. 1 UCLA will take on No. 3 LSU. The Bruins have handled all comers so far and the Tigers have scored 100-plus twice, so we could be in for a high-level offensive showdown on Sunday.
