Ruben Amorim has selected his Manchester United side to take on Lyon in Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg.
As confirmed by Amorim during Wednesday’s press conference, Andre Onana retains his place in goal and, indeed, so do the 10 outfielders who began our goalless draw with Manchester City.
If we line up in the same way, that means Diogo Dalot as right wing-back, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu on the left and Noussair Mazraoui, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro as the central defenders.
Manuel Ugarte and the in-form Casemiro continue in midfield, behind Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes.
Rasmus Hojlund, who is our leading scorer in Europe this term with five goals, leads the line.
It’s the first time Ruben has named an unchanged side since he was appointed as head coach in November.
It’s a strong-looking bench for United at the Groupama Stadium, with Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw all available again, after missing both games against Real Sociedad.
Youngsters Harry Amass, Jaydan Kamason, Godwill Kukonki and Jack Moorhouse are all also on the bench tonight.
Former United midfielder Nemanja Matic is among the substitutes for the hosts.
THE TEAMS
