Jaxson Dart Makes Life-Changing Admission After Ole Miss’ Bowl Win

It’s the end of an era for the Ole Miss Rebels, with star quarterback Jaxson Dart’s time with the SEC program over.

Dart has already played his last game in college on Thursday night when he put up one more memorable performance for the Rebels, leading them on the field to defeat the Duke Blue Devils in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.

Having played three seasons with the Rebels, Dart was understandably full of emotions following his farewell game for Ole Miss.

“This place changed my life,” Dart said when asked what he was most proud of about his time with the Rebels (via ESPN).

“It’s the best decision that I made. Just the relationship that I built with everybody here will last a lifetime. I think that’s just something super powerful that football brings especially when you join a great program,” Dart added.

Dart started his college career with the USC Trojans in 2021 but transferred to Ole Miss after just a year with the then-Pac-12 school.

After declaring for the 2025 NFL draft last week, Dart went ahead and played one more game for the Rebels, passing for 404 yards and four touchdowns against zero interceptions while completing 27 of his 35 passes in the win over Duke.

Ole Miss concludes its 2024 season with a 10-3 overall record along with a 5-3 slate against conference rivals.
