Sunrisers Hyderabad, who impressed everyone in the previous season, are performing poorly in the current Indian Premier League season. Out of the five matches played so far, the team has managed to win only one. After suffering four consecutive defeats, Sunrisers are currently at the bottom of the points table among all teams.

Today, Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to face Punjab Kings at their home ground, the Uppal Stadium. Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. As a result, Hyderabad will be chasing in this match.

For this game, Sunrisers have made one change to their lineup. They have brought in Ishan Malinga from Sri Lanka in place of Kamindu Mendis, who is also from Sri Lanka. On the other hand, Punjab Kings have made no changes to their playing eleven, according to their captain Shreyas Iyer.

Lucknow Super Giants Defeat Gujarat Titans

In a thrilling match that went down to the final over at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow, Lucknow Super Giants secured an impressive victory. Gujarat Titans, who batted first, scored 180 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. In reply, Lucknow chased down the target of 181 runs in 19.3 overs, finishing with a score of 186 for four wickets.

Ayush Badoni sealed the win in the final over by hitting a four followed by a six.

In the Lucknow innings, Aiden Markram scored 58 runs, captain Rishabh Pant contributed 21, Nicholas Pooran scored a blazing 61, and Ayush Badoni remained unbeaten with 28 runs. Nicholas Pooran was particularly dominant, hitting one four and seven sixes in his 34-ball innings.
