The Eagles have existed for more than 90 years, and they’ll try to add to their legacy when they play in Super Bowl 59 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Known for its loyal fan bases, Philadelphia is a true sports town that expects its teams to win championships. The expectation is the same this year for the Eagles, and fans of “The Birds” are hoping to exact some revenge on a team it recently faced in the title game and bring more glory to the franchise.

How many times have the Eagles won the Super Bowl?
Philadelphia has won one Super Bowl in franchise history. It finally claimed the title during the 2017 season to become the 20th team in the league to win a Super Bowl.

The lone Super Bowl win came in Super Bowl 52 by beating the New England Patriots in Minneapolis. The game is known for the trick play “Philly Special” that resulted in a touchdown in the victory.
When was the last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl?
The win over the Patriots is the only time Philadelphia won the Super Bowl so it is the most recent victory in the game for the Eagles. Philadelphia’s last Super Bowl appearance is a sour one for Eagles fans, coming two years ago against the team it will face Sunday – the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 57. Kansas City won the game.
