Houston vs Purdue score

Houston came away with a 62-60 victory against Purdue in the Sweet 16 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, a de-facto road game for the Cougars given the close geographic proximity of their opponent.

Houston led by 10 with seven minutes remaining, but was staring down the possibility of overtime with the score tied at 60 and only two seconds remaining. However, Cougars coach Kelvin Sampson drew up a masterful baseline out of bounds play, with Milos Uzan dishing it to Joseph Tugler, who passed it right back to an open Uzan for a layup with 0.9 seconds left.
