A home explosion rattled Northwest Austin on Sunday morning after a structure appeared leveled and others damaged in a residential area off U.S. 183 near McNeil Road.

Multiple emergency officials from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Austin Police Department and Austin-Travis County EMS remained on the scene just after noon. Neighbors also spilled onto the street as the situation unfolded in the 600 block of Double Spur Loop.

Photographs taken from neighbors and shared with the American-Statesman show a home leveled and nearby homes damaged. EMS has reported multiple injuries.
