The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of a magic carpet ride of a season.
They had an unbelievable 64-18 record and clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with about a week left in the regular season.
Coincidentally, because they were waiting on the result of the Play-In Tournament, it took longer than most teams for them to learn who their first-round matchup would be.
The Miami Heat narrowly escaped State Farm Arena with a win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night to clinch the No. 8 seed.
Cleveland forward Max Strus was once a member of the Heat and there appears to be no love lost between him and the franchise.

Since the matchup has been set in stone, the players and coaches have been answering questions in the media as is standard during playoff series.
Miami center Bam Adebayo was asked about Strus and the three-time All-Star responded resoundingly, saying, “I don’t give a f*** about Max Strus.”
There has been no mention of a falling out or strained relationship between Strus and the organization, so that statement from Adebayo is shocking to say the least.
The former undrafted free agent spent four seasons with the Heat and was a key contributor in their finals run a couple years ago.
Strus’ veteran presence and playoff experience has been welcomed with open arms in Cleveland.
It would be the ultimate revenge if he was able to send Miami home early with some deadly shooting in the postseason.
