Inclimatic weather in the Detroit area on Friday night led to the postponement of the opening game of the three-game home series against the Baltimore Orioles. The Tigers will play the first game at 1:10 p.m. and the following game at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday in a twinbill doubleheader.
This previews the second game, which should feature Jackson Jobe taking on Charlie Morton. However, the Tigers had old friend TBD listed at the time of publication, and Keider Montero getting a spot start remains a strong possibility.

MORTON
Sorry Charlie: Morton off to a rough start
The 41-year-old right-hander is getting a bit long in the tooth and may have run out of gas this season in his 18th year in the big leagues. The grizzled veteran has surrendered at least four runs in each of his five starts thus far, just barely reaching the five-inning mark in three of them while only getting in 3 1⁄3 and 2 1⁄3 in the other two.
You like home runs? Morton has been serving them up regularly, allowing at least one in four of his five appearances, while the two spot he surrendered gives him a perfectly even one-per-game average. The one bright spot on his stat line is his strikeouts — particularly the game that he struck out 10 Boston Red Sox batters over five frames, though that is also the game he surrendered a pair of dingers.
It is also worth noting that Baltimore has lost all five of his starts this season so far.
