Mark, this team caps *** historic week. You’re going to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history. Now you clinch the Summit League tournament championship. What does this moment mean for you and for this team? It means *** lot. It’s so surreal, you know. We went out there and validated for 3 games straight, you know, and we made history, we’re going to be able to. Tell our kids, our kids this in like 20 years, you know that that’s incredible and I can’t believe it. You’re one of 4 of who Coach Crutchfield calls his day one guys. You’ve trusted the journey to get to this moment. What has it meant to you to stay at this program and now for all that hard work to pay off? It means *** lot to be able to stay here, you know, the coaches, you know, they had confidence in me and they build confidence in me and I got that’s how I got confidence in myself, you know, uh, it means *** lot that we all stayed and we’re all older and mature now. Uh, I feel like that helped *** lot in this league and in the game, even going down the stretch, you know, we got JJ, he’s so poised, man. Uh, Tony, you can knock down shots and Jay Shaw is *** great defender, you know, we all bring value and you know that’s why we’re so connected. It wasn’t an easy go by any means tonight to get this win over Saint Thomas. They cut your lead to 6 at one point, but the way this team’s able to battle back from adversity, how is that gonna help you down the stretch in March? Uh that’s gonna help. Like I said, us having experience helps *** lot, you know. I don’t think none of us been to the March Madness, so that’ll be new, uh, you know, but it’s gonna be *** great experience and I can’t wait to get down there and compete with these guys. Markel, you’re going dancing. You’re gonna be playing in the NCAA tournament. What does this mean to you, man, it’s *** dream come true, and if, if somebody told me 4 years ago or something that I was gonna be here, I would have told them, stop, stop lying to me or something like that. Uh, you know, but it means *** lot. It’s *** dream come true. I always dreamed of this moment and I’m happy that um that I’m with this group of guys, you know, that believe in me and we believe in each other and we’re just so well connected. Uh, it means *** lot to be able to make history with them. *** few weeks ago coach talked about how for *** while it felt like Omaha was the little brother to the Creighton in Nebraska here now that this team cemented itself, what what does that mean to this program? Uh, it means *** lot, you know, I feel like people taking notice on us, of us, uh, that means *** lot, uh, you know, people knowing that, you know, we got good guys here, you know, and we’re not no rollover team, you know, we’re gonna compete always and, you know, we’re gonna fight to the end. Anything else you want to add for fans back home? We’re going dancing, baby. Mark Kelly, thank you. Thank you. ***
