Dodgers on Deck: April 14 vs. Rockies

The homestand continues on Monday with the opener of a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the first game for the Dodgers against a National League West opponent.

The Rockies come to town having lost all five series so far this season, with the worst record in baseball at 3-12, and dead last in runs scored at 2.67 per game. Colorado was just swept over the weekend by the Padres, and the Rockies did not score a run at all in the three games.

Dustin May gets to face Colorado’s lineup, looking to build off a strong start to his 2025 campaign. May, in his first major league action in over 22 months, went five and six innings in is first two starts and allowed only one earned run in total so far. He took the loss last Monday in Washington D.C. allowing three total runs to the Nationals, but two of those runs were unearned in his six innings.

Antonio Senzatela starts Monday night for the Rockies. coming off a Tommy John surgery of his own, which limited him to only five starts over the previous two seasons. This year Senzatela has allowed 10 runs (eight earned) on a major-league-high 27 hits in his 14 innings, and has only struck out six of his 68 batters faced in his three starts.
