Deltarune Chapters 1 – 4 Is Launching On Nintendo Switch 2

  • Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 finally have a release date, as it was revealed they’ll be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5.
  • A package of all Deltarune Chapters 1 – 4 will be released for the system, as well as the OG Switch, PC, PS4, and PS5.
  • With this news, we’re now waiting for just three more chapters until Deltarune is complete, and the wait is going to break me.

For a while now, Deltarune fans have been awaiting news about when they’ll be able to get their hands on Chapters 3 and 4 of the game. Before today’s Nintendo Direct, we knew that they were coming this year, as hinted by Toby Fox himself, but we now have an official date. Announced during the show, Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 will launch on the same date as the Nintendo Switch 2 – June 5.

This little tidbit was included in a trailer for a full Deltarune collection which was shown off during the show, as Deltarune Chapters 1–4 will be releasing as a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2. Shortly after the announcement, Toby Fox tweeted that the game will also be coming to PC, the original Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on the same day.

We Finally Know When Deltarune Chapters 3 And 4 Are Launching

With this release later this year, we’ll now only be waiting for three more chapters, as it has been officially confirmed that there will be seven chapters in the overall story. If you’re waiting for the whole package to arrive before jumping in, you’ll be waiting a little longer, I’m afraid, but two chapters launching simultaneously like this should be a good sign that you won’t be waiting too much.

RelatedIt’s always nice to be remembered.

Deltarune was just one of the big announcements in what ended up being a pretty jam-packed Nintendo Direct, which featured a little bit of everything. We got some really big game announcements, such as the reveal of a new Hyrule Warriors game called Age of Imprisonment, and a new FromSoftware games called The Duskbloods, which looks like a Bloodborne sequel in everything but name.

We also got the reveal of GameCube games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2’s online library, with The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Soul Caliber 2, and F-Zero all featured. We don’t know the full lineup yet, but we did see a short reel of games which included Super Mario Sunshine and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.
