DeAndre Hopkins has found a new home, agreeing to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the contract is worth $5 million, with incentives pushing it to $6 million.
Hopkins spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs after being traded from the Tennessee Titans in October. He recorded 41 catches for 437 yards and four touchdowns in 10 regular season games before adding three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown in the playoffs.
The former Clemson standout played in his first Super Bowl this past February, making history in Kansas City’s win over the Eagles. Hopkins caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes late in the fourth quarter, becoming just the third Clemson product to score in a Super Bowl, joining William Perry and Tee Higgins.
A five-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler, Hopkins has put together a Hall of Fame-worthy career. He has amassed 984 receptions, 12,965 yards, and 83 touchdowns across stints with the Texans, Cardinals, Titans, and Chiefs. Now, he looks to add another chapter in Baltimore as the Ravens aim to contend for a championship.
