Cornell men’s hockey took down the second-overall seed, Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 27.

The win is considered a major upset. The Big Red scored with less than 10 seconds left in the game to seal a 4 to 3 victory.

Charlie Major found a streaking Sullivan Mack for the final goal.

Cornell will now face Boston University, who scored eight goals in its first round matchup.
