Confirmed Chelsea line-up vs Liverpool!

Enzo Maresca has made eight changes to Chelsea’s starting line-up for our game against recently-crowned champions Liverpool.

Maresca rotated his squad for the Blues’ trip to Djurgarden so it comes as no surprise to see several players return for this afternoon’s clash at Stamford Bridge, naming the same XI which beat Everton last weekend.

Robert Sanchez is back from injury in goal and Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill return in the heart of the defence. Marc Cucurella retains his place on the left, while Moises Caicedo is expected to begin at right-back once more.

That means Romeo Lavia is back in the XI after being left out of the trip to Sweden, alongside captain Enzo Fernandez, with Cole Palmer starting in the more advanced position.

Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke line up on the flanks, with Nicolas Jackson leading the line, fresh from making it three goals in two games midweek.

Chelsea: Sanchez; Caicedo, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Lavia, Fernandez (c); Neto, Palmer, Madueke; Jackson

Substitutes: Jorgensen, Gusto, James, Acheampong, Badiashile, Tosin, Dewsbury-Hall, Sancho, George

Liverpool: Alisson, Endo, Van Dijk, Salah, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah

Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Robertson, Bradley
