As the kind of experience and and success that he’s had, I think it’s huge for an organization, but you know, on top of that, just knowing him for as long as I have and, uh, obviously we have our horse together and stuff, so I’m, uh, I’m pretty excited about it. Yeah, what’s the horse. He’s an elite defender, *** guy with *** lifetime career average of 375 at Fenway Park. Fans are gonna love him. Reports indicating that the Boston Red Sox have agreed to contract terms with free agent infielder Alex Bregman changed the vibe at spring training. The $120 million, 3-year contract reported by ESPN and the Associated Press brings a two-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion to the club. It also gives a signal that the Red Sox are back. Players were happy and said this signals to them that ownership believes in them, that they can go deep this season and make a World Series run.Bregman’s longtime friend, pitcher Walker Buehler, said he couldn’t be more pleased. The two own a racehorse together.”Any time you bring in a guy that has the kind of experience and success that he’s had. I think it’s huge for an organization,” said Buehler, who signed with the Red Sox in December. “I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about him, just about him being an absolute baseball rat.
