Blackpink’s Jennie, Lisa and Rosé Dazzled (And Teased New Music) During 2025 Met Gala Carpet

Jennie, Lisa and Rosé, three quarters of the global supergroup Blackpink, hit the Met Gala carpet Monday night.

Jennie, a Chanel ambassador, unsurprisingly wore the French fashion house for fashion’s biggest night. The 29-year-old sported a Chanel tuxedo gown with a tailored black jumpsuit inside. The gown featured a white flower and quintessential Chanel pearls.

The K-Pop star told Vogue on the carpet that the look was inspired by the Coco Chanel runway looks of the ’20s and ’30s. She wore a black hat with white trim. “I do my best with my research,” Jennie told Vogue about how she interprets a theme and brings it to life.

Jennie was also asking about Blackpink’s upcoming world tour. “It’s Blackpink in your area, back again,” she said, referencing the group’s iconic tagline. “I can’t be the one spoiling everything but it’s going to be good. We can’t wait to meet our fans.

Lisa, who arrived on the blue carpet shortly after Jennie, wore Louis Vuitton; the 28-year-old is a global ambassador for the brand. The White Lotus star wore a black bodysuit with an eyelet long-sleeved jacket over the top. She paired the bodysuit with a pearl and gold waist chain, a pair of Vuitton branded tights and a black and white bowler bag.

Rosé arrived later than her fellow group members towards the end of the carpet. The 28-year-old also represented her ambassadorship with an ensemble from Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

She wore a tailor-made tuxedo, fitting for the night’s theme, with red heels, which she made she to point out during a chat with Vogue on the carpet. The singer also accessorized with a Tiffany & Co platinum and 18 carat yellow gold pendant with a 14 carat sapphire and diamonds, along with a platinum ring also featuring diamonds and sapphire, according to a release.

The New Zealand native dropped some major information about Blackpink’s future when asked about the upcoming tour. “We’ve got new music coming out, so I feel that’s going to be a whole different approach to how we storytell this next tour,” Rosé told Vogue.

“The last time I came I was by myself, so I’m really, really excited to see the girls. I was just with them in the studio in Korea, so it’s just nice to have family here,” she mentioned earlier in the interview when asked how it feels to attend with her group members.

Jennie and Lisa made their solo Coachella debut last month, meanwhile, Lisa made her acting debut earlier this year in season three of The White Lotus. The Coachella debut comes alongside increasingly fruitful solo careers for each of the Blackpink members. Jisoo, the group’s oldest member, most recently joined Jennie, Lisa and Rosé in finding new labels as solo artists — Jisoo’s was a global deal with Warner Records. In December 2023, it was announced that Blackpink had renewed their exclusive contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment; however, it was later announced that all four members decided to part ways with the label for solo activities. Jennie signed with Columbia Records through a partnership with her record label and entertainment company Oddatelier; Lisa and her entertainment company LLOUD signed a partnership deal with RCA Records; Rosé signed a global solo deal with Atlantic Records.
