SEATTLE — All eyes are on the Seattle Storm Monday as they gear up for the 2025 draft with a No. 2 pick.
Seattle also has three picks in the third round at 26, 29, and 34 overall.
The team is already stacked with major stars, so it will be interesting to see who is selected.

Most draft pick experts predict that the Storm will take 19-year-old Dominique Malonga.
“We have a really, really special opportunity to bring a great athlete onto our team this year and help us compete for a championship,” said Storm Chief Operations Officer, Rohre Titcomb.
Monday isn’t only a important for the team but for the city of Seattle. To put it into perspective, the Storm hasn’t had this high of a draft pick since 2016, when it selected Breanna Stewart at No. 1.
“We are so excited. It’s such a big day for the Storm. We’ve got the number two pick in the WNBA draft, and this is just the beginning of the ramp-up to our seasons,” said Titcomb. “So (we’re) really excited to hit this milestone in the 2025 season,” said Titcomb.

To have it all happen in the new facility that the team calls home makes it even more special.
“We moved in just about one year ago, and the court we are standing on is where the magic happens. It’s been an incredible part of our success as a franchise and a really phenomenal space for the players to come, practice, get ready, and be the best athletes they can be on the court for us,” Titcomb said.
She also explained some of the technology the facility has to help the players.
“We’ve got cameras mounted all around here so players can walk in, start getting shots up, and this facility will be tracking their activity, tracking their success, on its own. So, it’s one of the amazing technology components we have to help our athletes compete at their best,” said Titcomb.
The action will begin with a 3:30 p.m. watch party at Seattle’s Queen Anne Beer Hall, which will be covered live on KOMO News during its 3 p.m. newscast.
“Tonight (at the beer hall) we have a really fun lineup. We have our in-arena host coming out, we have some fun prizes, you’ll get to hear from key people in the Storm community, and celebrate this exciting day all together,” said Titcomb.
There will also be door prizes and a raffle, and Titcomb said new gear will be dropping soon.
KOMO and ARC Seattle on the CW are the new home of the Seattle Storm, with 33 games airing on The CW and 13 games on KOMO 4.
