FOX Nation presents this new 45-minute Inauguration Day comedy special featuring Tyler Fischer’s satirical take on the current state of politics and culture. Taped at the Comedy Mothership, Joe Rogan’s comedy club in Austin, Texas, Fischer blends his razor-sharp political commentary with impersonations of President-elect Trump, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Elon Musk and others in Trump’s cabinet. Turner Classic Movies remembers Martin Luther King Jr. and the legacy of what he stood for all day today. The morning and afternoon feature various dramas, including The Learning Tree (1969), based on a Gordon Parks novel, which follows the life of a poor Black 14-year-old in Kansas as he learns about love, fear and racial injustice; the Best Picture Oscar-nominated Sounder (1972), led by Best Actor and Actress Oscar nominees Paul Winfield and Cicely Tyson, about the oldest son of a loving and hardworking family of sharecroppers who comes of age in the Depression-era South after his father is imprisoned for stealing food; Intruder in the Dust (1949), about a Black man (Juano Hernandez) who is unjustly accused of murdering a white man; and the Emmy Award-winning The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman (1974), a story of a woman (played by Tyson in an Emmy-winning performance) born into slavery in the 1850s who becomes part of the Civil Rights Movement a century later. Later, three films will celebrate Coretta Scott King, who was married to MLK until his assassination. This evening lineup begins with the TCM premiere of Nationtime (1972), a documentary about the National Black Political Convention held in Gary, Indiana, in 1972, a historic event that gathered voices from across the political spectrum, including Coretta Scott King. Following the short 1970 documentary I Am Somebody comes another TCM premiere: Boycott (2001), a biographical drama that originally aired on HBO and features Jeffrey Wright as Martin Luther King Jr. and Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King. The MLK Day commemoration continues into late night and early tomorrow with four more films, including the Best Picture Oscar-winning In the Heat of the Night (1967), led by Best Actor winner Rod Steiger and Sidney Poitier.

Leading up to the encore of the documentary are several of Hitch’s British films: the original The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934), The 39 Steps (1935), Sabotage (1936), Young and Innocent (1937) and The Lady Vanishes (1938). After the Becoming Hitchcock re-air, the lineup concludes with Hitchcock’s second American film, the spy thriller Foreign Correspondent (1940).

Best Director Oscar nominee George Stevens’ powerful, Best Picture Oscar-nominated 1959 drama is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning 1955 play of the same name, which itself was drawn from the posthumously published writings of Anne Frank, a Jewish girl who lived in hiding from the Nazis with her family in the Netherlands during World War II before ultimately dying in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp at age 15. Millie Perkins made her film debut as Anne, and the exceptional cast also includes Best Supporting Actress Oscar winner Shelley Winters as Petronella Van Daan (a pseudonym given by Anne in her diary to Auguste van Pels, the matriarch of the family that hid with the Franks); and Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee Ed Wynn as Albert Dussel (real name Fritz Pfeffer, a German dentist who hid with the Frank and van Pels families). A few actors reprise their stage roles: Joseph Schildkraut as Anne’s father, Otto; Gusti Huber as Anne’s mother, Edith; and Lou Jacobi as Hans Van Daan (real name Hermann van Pels, Auguste’s husband).
