Donald Trump will make history when he is sworn into office today as the oldest President to take the oath of office.
Prior to Trump, President Joe Biden was the oldest elected President. Biden was 78 when he sworn in and is 82 now. Biden was born Nov. 20, 1942. As of today, he will become the oldest ex-President, a title that former President Jimmy Carter held until he died at the age of 100 in December.
Trump is only going to be claiming the title of oldest President to take the oath of office by a couple of months.

Trump is 78, the same age Biden when we was sworn in 2021. But, Trump has a June 14 birthday, making him a few months older than Biden was he was sworn in.
Trump is one of three presidents to be born in 1946, sharing the year with George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

The 43rd president is 22 days younger than Trump and 44 days older than Clinton.

At the time he took office, Clinton was among the youngest taking on the job at age 46. Only two presidents were younger than Clinton when they were sworn in, Theodore Roosevelt was 42 years of age and John F. Kennedy was 43.

Obama, 63, was born on Aug. 4, 1961. The 44th president is now the youngest president alive. He was also the fourth youngest presidents to enter office at the age of 47.
